3. Sources of information
We collect information directly from you; from employer clients, references, recruiters, and service providers; from public or professional sources; through our website and communications; and, with appropriate notice and authorization, from background-screening or other verification providers. Clients may give us information about assignments, time worked, performance, safety, or workplace concerns.
4. How we use information
We may use personal information to:
- respond to inquiries and provide, personalize, and improve our Services;
- recruit, evaluate, match, refer, hire, place, onboard, schedule, and support applicants and workers;

5. Communications using your phone number or email
If you provide a phone number or email address, AshaPoint may use it to communicate with you about jobs, applications, interviews, onboarding, work, assignments, schedules, shift openings or changes, attendance, timekeeping, payroll, documents, safety, benefits, client updates, our services, and other related purposes. We may communicate by telephone, voicemail, SMS/MMS, email, WhatsApp, or similar channels and may use service providers, automated technology, or prerecorded/artificial voice where permitted by law.
Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Consent to automated or marketing messages is not a condition of applying, receiving staffing services, or accepting a job or assignment. Reply STOP to an SMS to opt out and HELP for help, or contact us using the details below to change preferences. We may send a confirmation of an opt-out request. Opting out of one channel does not automatically opt you out of every channel, and we may still send legally permitted, non-promotional, or transactional messages necessary to respond to you or administer an active application, employment relationship, assignment, payroll, safety matter, or other requested service. WhatsApp and other platforms process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
6. How we disclose information
We may disclose personal information, as appropriate, to:
- Employer clients and prospects considering you for a role or administering an assignment, such as your resume, qualifications, availability, screening status, and work-related records;
- Service providers supporting hosting, communications, applicant tracking, screening, payroll, benefits, banking, tax, document management, security, professional advice, and business operations;
- Government agencies and other parties when required by law, legal process, reporting duties, workplace-safety obligations, or to protect rights, safety, and security;
- Business transaction parties in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, sale, or transfer, subject to appropriate protections; and
- Other parties at your direction or with your consent.
AshaPoint does not sell personal information for money. We do not disclose phone numbers, SMS consent, or opt-in data to third parties for their independent marketing. We may share this information with vendors that help us deliver communications, subject to their obligation to use it for that service.
7. Background checks and sensitive information
If a role requires a consumer report or investigative consumer report, AshaPoint or the applicable employer will provide any disclosure and request authorization separately as required by the Fair Credit Reporting Act and applicable state or local law. Before taking an adverse employment action based on such a report, the responsible employer will provide required notices and an opportunity to review or dispute the report. Medical, disability, genetic, banking, tax, identity, and other sensitive information is accessed and used only for appropriate employment, accommodation, payroll, benefits, safety, compliance, or legal purposes.
8. Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for recruiting, staffing, employment, client service, legal, tax, audit, safety, dispute, and recordkeeping purposes. Retention periods vary by the type of record, our relationship, and applicable law. Information may remain in backups for a limited period after it is deleted from active systems.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No transmission or storage method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please contact us promptly if you believe information provided to AshaPoint has been misused or compromised.
9. Your choices and rights
You may ask to access, correct, or update information you submitted; withdraw optional communications consent; or ask questions about our practices by contacting us. We will review requests and respond as required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information when required or permitted for employment, tax, legal, security, recordkeeping, or dispute purposes.
You may disable browser cookies through your browser, although parts of the site may not work as intended. Email messages may include an unsubscribe method when applicable. For texts, reply STOP. Communication preferences do not limit essential employment, assignment, payroll, safety, or legally required notices.
